Empowering Rural Education: Aveti Learning & Gram Vikas Join Hands for Digital Transformation
A Journey Towards Brighter Futures
Aveti Learning, in collaboration with Gram Vikas, has embarked on a journey to empower students through digital learning, revolutionizing classroom experiences in four schools across Ganjam, Kalahandi, and Gajapati districts.
This partnership is not just about installing technology — it’s about ensuring that students gain access to innovative educational tools that enhance their learning outcomes. With smart classrooms and Math Labs equipped with engaging digital content, students are now able to grasp complex concepts in a more interactive and enjoyable manner.
Digital Learning in Action
At Kankia School in Ganjam, Math-Lab was installed on 10 desktops in February 2024, followed by classroom content for 13 classrooms in March. The impact? A staggering 155 hours of smart class usage, where students engaged with over 9300 minutes of learning content.
In Kumudabahal School, Kalahandi, Math-Lab was introduced to 10 desktops in April, benefiting 11 classrooms. Students here have spent 2609 minutes immersed in digital learning, strengthening their foundational skills through interactive exercises.
Koinpur School in Gajapati received a Math-Lab with 15 desktops in February. Although classroom content installation faced delays due to vendor issues and slow internet, the headmaster, Prakash Sir, remains optimistic:
“Our students have shown great enthusiasm in exploring digital exercises. Once all classrooms are equipped, I am sure the impact will be tremendous.”
Meanwhile, at Gyananda School in Ganjam, 17 desktops were transformed into Math-Lab hubs in May, with one classroom receiving digital content in July. While this school is in its early stages of digital adoption, the momentum is building, with students already logging 466 minutes of smart class engagement.
Transforming Lives, One Lesson at a Time
The response from students and teachers has been overwhelmingly positive. Sita, a student from Kumudabahal School, shared her excitement:
“I love how math problems come to life on the screen! It’s no longer just numbers on a blackboard; now, I can visualize and understand them better.”
Teachers, too, have recognized the transformation. Rajesh Sir, a teacher at Kankia School, emphasized the importance of digital integration:
“With digital tools, I see students engaging more actively. The visual representation of concepts has made teaching much more effective.”
Beyond the Classrooms
This initiative is not just about introducing digital tools but fostering a mindset of innovation and curiosity. By equipping schools with Math Labs and smart content, Aveti Learning and Gram Vikas are ensuring that students in rural Odisha get the same opportunities as those in urban centers.
The challenges, such as internet connectivity remain, but with unwavering commitment from educators, partners, and students, the vision of digital inclusion is steadily becoming a reality.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to expanding this initiative to more schools, ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has access to quality education. Because education is not just about learning — it’s about empowering dreams.
