Keonjhar students find their IKIGAI
On July 15th 2023, Aveti Learning, in collaboration with District Education Department Keonjhar, unveiled an innovative program called Aveti X that aims to foster inclusive learning experiences by connecting students with practitioners from various fields around the world. Joining hands with the District Administration this is an effort to create opportunity for students to broaden student’s horizons as responsible citizens.
The inaugural session of this season event witnessed an extraordinary turnout, with over 6000 students from across 200 schools eagerly joining the virtual session. This marked the beginning of an exciting journey, igniting curiosity and offering students a glimpse into various career options and motivational themes.
The launch event jointly hosted by District Education Department Keonjhar and Aveti Learning showcased the potential of the need to engage and encourage students with innovative topics. Students from Keonjhar district had the opportunity to interact with the speaker and share their thoughts. This is possible because of the world class infrastructure set up in the schools through the School Transformation Programme.
Knowing your IKIGAI
Aparajita Sahoo, Inclusion Specialist and Head of Inclusion at JSS International School, Dubai in her engaging presentation introduced students to the concept of IKIGAI, a Japanese philosophy that emphasizes finding one’s purpose and living a fulfilling life. Through thought-provoking examples and real-life stories, Sahoo encouraged students to reflect on their interests, talents, and the values they hold dear. She highlighted the importance of aligning personal goals with societal needs, emphasizing the fulfillment that arises from pursuing meaningful endeavors.
IKIGAI revolves around four fundamental elements: what we love, what we are good at, what the world needs, and what we can be paid for. Exploring these aspects can help individuals discover their passion, strengths, and the impact they aspire to make.
